A long 4 years later and it finally feels like cybersecurity is becoming part of at least part of the portfolio I work with in the Air Force. Maybe it was a bloody battle, maybe it’s far from over; but today as I look out the window I can at last say that things are changing for the better.
This week we delivered a well-received cybersecurity summit for two days that generated lively talk and discussions. I’m proud to say my CCSP, earned this year, is paying off. I gave a short, informative primer on the beginnings of cloud security including practicing better awareness and deliberate selection of secure, proven service offerings. Responsibility is shared; accountability is never shared.
Why “intermission”? Because the fight for better security is a never ending journey.
